Getting this 4 poster bed moved was more of an adventure than I would have cared.
1. The first mover got to the storage shed in MS, got into a spat with the persoon I bought the bed from and refused to pick it up.
2. Second guy went bankrupt and I lost the 50% deposit I made.
3. Third guy kept telling me he would pick it up 2-3 weeks out. After 6 weeks, it was atleast anouther 4 weeks.
4. Final guy committed to a date within a few days. Good communication. Picked up when he said he would and delivery was when expected (actually early)
Since I was new to UShip, I kept accepting the first offer that met my needs. In the future, I wouldn't accept a bid unless pickup was within a couple of weeks. I was very flexible on pickup and delivery. Perhaps too flexible.
To be honest, I am not sure I would do this again.
