I think that I was one of the lucky ones. The shipper that I selected was excellent. Some other bidders initially gave me a bid of $470 and then would submit bids a day later for hundreds of dollars less. The shipper I used was fair and extremely efficient and had a reasonable cost. Why I was so impressed that I offered him additional funding for gas since I was not home when he said he would be there, and he had to drive to other out of his route locations.
