I looked for a way to move my stuff from Texas to Kentucky for about 2 months. To rent a truck and move it would have been about $700, and that doesn't include days out of work or the hassle of having to do it myself. I had moving companies quote me anywhere from $1100 to $3500 for the move, and I was only moving a studio apartment! I found 2 movers on uShip, but the first wasn't able to make it this way so I got a refund. Within a week, I had another moving company. The move was door to door and they loaded and unloaded. It only cost me $600!!! If I need to move again, uShip is the first place I'll go to find a mover.
