This was my first time using Uship but it won't be my last.
A local shipper would only give me a rough estimate on this interstate shipment. I went to Uship and within one day I had three firm bids, all lower than my local shipper. I actually selected the highest because I liked the e-mail I received from him through Uship. It was professional, exact and didn't have a lot of conditionals (if this, then there will be an extra charge, you must provide the following documents, etc). I got a strong sense of the same customer service attitude that I try for with my customers (What does the customer need to have a positive experience?).
The actual shipment confirmed his attitude. As just one example, when a forecast of bad weather threatened the shipment, he called and offered to come the previous evening and drive through the night to beat the storm and deliver the shipment on time. There was no mention of extra charge for this service.
I will definately use Uship for my future requirements.
