I moved by myself from South Florida to Los Angeles. I had never moved cross-country before & was pretty nervous about it. Mike (from Southern Maryland Moving and Storage) was super courteous, professional, & speedy with communication throughout the entire process, which put my mind at ease. Tracking him on GPS was great too! I'm so glad that my Mom told me about uShip after seeing it on "Shipping Wars", haha. The site was very easy to use, and I definitely saved money, probably hundreds of dollars at least compared to if I had gone with a traditional moving company or one of those portable storage units.
