My daughter is a student in Vancouver and we live in Calgary. She had taken her bed out with her during her first year of university but now in her fourth year she was moving to a different home in Vancouver and no longer needed it. I was able to figure out how to post the job and determine a maximum amount I could pay to make it worthwhile, rather than buying a brand new bed. Also, I needed to have it picked up and delivered within a window of the next 2 weeks. I was a little skeptical about the budget and the timing but thought it was worth a try. Within minutes my job was posted and by the next morning I had already accepted a bid from a service provider who was already making a trip out to Vancouver and had room in their trailer. All I can say is WOW! It was so easy. Within 4 days of accepting the bid the bed was picked up in Vancouver and delivered to me in Calgary in excellent condition the very next day. The service was great and the price was excellent. I shipped the bed for $300 and it would have cost me hundreds more than that to get a comparable new bed for our spare room.
