I did not know services like uShip existed until a store wanted to charge me $1300 to ship 2 items of furniture from LA to Memphis. Not only could I not afford to pay that much, but I objected philosophically! In exploring shipping alternatives I came across uShip and decided to give it a try. It was fun to see the different bids. My shipper turned out to be a great guy who took good care of my furniture, and communicated about its location frequently. And it was fun to track his whereabouts with the GPS tracker. I have told quite a few people that uShip exists. Not sure when or if I will need this service again but if I do, I will not hesitate to do it again. By the way, my shipper charged me $500....saved me $800. I am grateful!
