I had less than a week to move several antiques from my mom's home before the sale was finalized on her house the midwest to my home in Texas. One item in particular was a large banquet table in pecan wood with a solid wood pedestal base and five leaves. I was very worried about trying to pack it myself or spend a fortune getting it done by a shipper so last minute.
I stumbled on uShip via a dogpile.com search, despite living not far from uShip's home town.
The uShip site was easy to use. I liked being able to check out the shippers. One looked promising but specialized in farm animals. I thought about it, but since I had other similar bids, went with a someone with a track record in musical instruments and electronics. It turned out to be a great choice. I was very pleased with the outcome.
Recommended the site to my siblings trying to move similar items to the East and West coasts. Great service. I'd use it again in a heart beat.
