I'm from the UK & wanted an early 70's Harley, which is tough to find in the UK for a reasonable price.
I found the one I wanted in Texas via Craig's List and used Uship to locate the inland transportation to the docks. Taking a risk I paid the seller, and my transportation company liaised with the seller on my behalf to collect the bike.
After sending him a copy of the pre-arranged dock booking form, he collected the bike, took it to the docks. Job done.
Just need to wait 6 weeks to see it!
The cost of the bike, duties and UK tax saved me around $4000.
