My first experience with U Ship
I knew about this old bedroom chaise that was my grandmothers, inherited by one of my siblings and had been stored in my parents basement for years. I moved to knew home and thought of that chair. My sister said I could have it but my husband would not allow a lot of $ to get it from SLC to Colorado. I learned of U Ship from a shipper I contacted after trying to price the shipment on the internet (the price they had given me was over $500). I set it up as an item to bid.
The process was basically very easy. I became a bit frustrated with internet communication and sent an “answer” to a questions that contained my phone number asking for the shipper to call me so we cloud have a dialog. I quickly got a reprimand from U ship saying I did not comply with the protocol but sine it was my fist offense, no consequences. In hind site, now that I understand the process I agree with all the protocols set up to keep people safe.
I got my chaise delivered promptly and for a great price (under $100).
I think this is a great service and I will never consider driving a U-haul myself again!
