I needed to get a medium size load (12 items total) of furniture from SF to CO & found U-Ship online. My experience was good although it was a bit of a process. The pros: I ended up getting a close rate to my original max bid on my shipment. Everything arrived in perfect condition & my shipper (Russ) was honest & very nice! The cons: Shipment was delayed by 2 weeks due to shipper's engine trouble, (truck broke down 3 times during the shipment). Communication from shipper was sporadic but everything worked out in the end & I would suggest him to anyone who is flexible & unable to pay top bid price. I would also use U-Ship again but my complaint is that they don't list a contact # to correspond w/. I was about to cancel my shipment after I hadn't heard from the shipper for several days & there was no way to call u-ship to discuss the matters. Everything ended up working out but I was stressing for a bit….
