The first bid that I accepted did not work out. I never got the entire story, but a previously stellar mover had some significant trouble, and it ended up being a bit of a hassle for the company and for several of us who needed things moved.
The second time I put my piano up for bid, the accepted bid was higher, but the mover was good at keeping me in the loop, and I got the piano on the first attempt.
On the whole I got a good deal for moving a piano.
