As a novice in shipping, this was a fabulous experience. Everything went vey well. It took me a little while to figure it out, to understand some terms, etc. I shipped out 6500 books and had to learn how to do it. Between the bidders and Lowe's (how to apply shrink wrap) I learned a lot. I aways thought the pallets my husband brought home were all the same size. I learned that 40x48 is standard, at least for my load. I had to change my shipping date, and number of pallets I would need several times, which of course changed the bidding. How did I know it would take 4 complete weeks to sort and pack 6500 books? Or how many boxes and pallets we needed, or how many pallets we could fit into the garage. I think the package stores are sorry we are done. Now they have to break up their own boxes again.
All in all this was a great experience; everything went perfect from start to finish. My service provided was excellent "Ernjun" When I finally excepted a bid Ernjun hped me through the rough areas. Everything he told me was correct. My shipment cost $713.00, which was a serious bargin for over 400 boxes that were ultra heavy weight.
I am completely satisfied and would ship no other way. I plan to use U-ship again when we move.
Thank you U.Ship, now where is my $25.00 rebate promised on the internet screen, whenI signed up? LOL
