I was considering moving a pool table I purchased from a neighbor myself. After considering the logistics, potential damage to the table, my truck, and my back, I figured I should at least look into a professional move. I'm so glad I did it. Bids came in quickly and were well within my expectations for price. The guys at C. W. Billiards came through with the lowest bid, and were amazingly professional. After watching them work, I can't imagine being successful moving it myself. There is no way the table would have ended up level and I'm not sure I could have even gotten it over here. I have never played on a table that felt so perfect. If you are at all considering getting a pool table, I'd highly recommend spending the extra few hundred bucks to have it professionally moved. You'll still get a better deal than if you bought it new, and you'll have the perfect surface that really makes playing enjoyable.
