If you have ever been to Newfoundland you know it is an Island in the Atlantic and certainly presents some challenges when shipping items, especially large items like a camper. I had tried on several occasions to call various independant shippers to get my camper shipped from Newfoundland to Alberta - all without luck. After a month of searching I had given up on shipping the camper and was actually comtemplating driving to Newfoundland myself or waiting until next year to ship. Then late one evening while visiting a neighbour I expressed my disapointment regarding not having my camper in Alberta for my summer vacation and he mentioned uship. He continued to explain how he had shipped a boat out of the states using the service and got an excellent price with great results. I thought what the heck.... what have I got to lose? and so I signed up, and listed my camper. Within a couple of hours I had my first bid, followed by other bids.... and the rest as they say, "was history". Overall a great experience, a very easy site to navigate even for the unexperienced users. I was excited that I had received many bids and was able to select the one that best suited my interests. My service provider was professional, friendly and curteous. The uship experience was great and I would definately recommend it to anyone as an excellent alternative.
