I recently sold my UNIMOG and needed it transported appx. 50 miles to the buyer. As this vehicle is somewhat unique and about the size of a small motorhome, I wanted to make sure the shipper fully understood my transport needs. I found the uShip site very helpful in this respect as I was able to not only describe the vehicle, but was also able to post a picture, ensuring bidders had a good understanding of what I was looking for, and what they were being asked to transport. I received several bids within a short time of my initial post. The uShip site let me compare “apples to apples” and respond to bidders questions. I was able to select a transport company and finalize details within a day of my post... far faster than I had anticipated. The process was so much easier than making numerous calls or sending several email & fax RFQs. Shipping day arrived and Pat’s Mobile Service arrived right on time and fully prepared. The UNIMOG was carefully loaded and secured, and we were on the way. Upon arrival at the buyer’s location, on time again by the way, the ‘mog was unloaded, we settled the bill and Pat was on his way. An excellent experience in all respects. Pat is a real professional and I would recommend him for any of your transport needs. One thing I really like about the uShip site is the shipper’s profile. My shipper asked how I came to choose his bid and I told him it really came down to his profile… I could see that he was a professional with the right equipment for the job. Will I use uShip again? If I have another transport of this type, I’ll probably contact Pat’s Mobile Service directly…that’s how pleased I was with his service. For a shipment of a different type?
