Before Shannon placed a bid on the shipment of my 1977 Airstream her meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and stellar customer service was clear. During the course of her travels, she not only provided me with nightly email updates, but photo documentation of her travels. Unbeknownst to both of us, the winter weather driving conditions in December 2008 would be the worst weather that the Pacific Northwest and US has seen in 30 years. During the course of her travels, Shannon hit three major snow storms, treacherous mountain passes and managed to get my Airstream from Missouri to Oregon in perfect working order, on time without a scratch. Because of the storms, Shannon was forced to spend Christmas on the road working towards the delivery of my shipment.
When Shannon arrived to pick up my Airstream, the Airstream immediately got a flat. Shannon promptly repaired the flat at no expense to me and was on her way. I was still traveling from St. Louis to Portland when the trailer was delivered. The trailer arrived at the height of Portland’s city-wide snow shut down. Therefore, I was not there to shovel the driveway and trim the branches of the plum trees that were obstructing the Airstream’s path. Shannon single handedly shoveled a forty-foot driveway trimmed back all the trees. To complicate matters further, the grade of the driveway was too steep to pull in the trailer. Shannon immediately contacted me and patiently waited for hours while I located a tow truck. Once Shannon guided the trailer into the driveway, she safely landed and leveled the trailer for six months of storage.
I felt assured during this whole shipment process that the fruits of all my labor and investment were in hands far more capable and secure than my own. I can say with complete confidence that Shannon treated my Airstream as if it were her own home. This was the absolute best customer service I have ever experienced ANYWHERE!!
