This was my first experience using uShip and it went really well; I really liked that the feedback loop helps one to feel more confident about booking something as important as moving online.
I had a washer & dryer that has been in storage for three years in Los Angeles while I've been hard at work in the Bay Area looking for a house with my new fiancee Nicole. We were trying to save on expenses and realized I had a perfectly good washer & dryer from when I lived in Los Angles before.
I placed a bid, found the "buy now" offers to be grossly over expensive, and then found three bids in the first hour, with the one I selected in the first three hours and I had 11 total. I didn't like getting phone calls every-time I had a bid, I didn't like the fact that i couldn't make it "stay off" outside business hours, but I did like the control and ease that I had in managing the transaction.
Mike did a splendid job and was only about $10 higher than my lowest bid. I remember something about a rebate that you offer, and i think it would be really swell for that to be emailed to me when the transaction gets completed; unless you do that already and I don't know because this is my first time.
