My mom had recentlly sold her house in Eastern Washington, and had only a few weeks to remove her items from the house. She had relocated to Florida during the summer and so this was a trip to make sure everything was out.
One item that she didn't want to part with was a cedar chest her parents had given her as a Graduation Present in 1973. As soon as she told me that she didn't know what to do about it I Googled movers, and found UShip, at first I was a little skeptical but then after a few bids decided to take the best one. I called my mom to tell her that I would love to have it, and that I could have someone come pick it up and deliver to me in the Seattle area. I have memories of being a child and going into my parents room and opening the chest just to breathe in the smell of cedar. Once the chest was delivered I was able to open it up and have the flood of memories come back. She even left a few items in there that had been in there from years ago.
Thank you Frank, for helping make my childhood memories continue on down to my daughter, and generations to come!
