We shipped a king-size mattress, which is akin to moving a giant marshmallow: 150 lbs of bulk that is easy to trip over and difficult to manipulate at the best of times. Packaging it took a share of ingenuity, which my service provider (fumpum) had.
As luck would have it, the rain came pouring down just as we were about to move it from our hallway to his truck. Now covered in plastic, the mattress became very slippery and even harder to handle than usual. The quality of packaging and expert handling saved it from being a soggy, dirty mess.
This is the difference between professional and armature service.
