My in-laws, after talking about giving us their kitchen table for something like 5 years, finally decided that they would indeed move to Florida and it would be ours, but they never mentioned how we might actually GET said table from upstate NY to Boston. And for good measure, they also decided to throw a few random household items into the mix -- a lawnmower, a truly delightful picture of a girl holding a cat, a fax machine -- pretty much anything they did not want to have to move themselves. Thank goodness I found Allastair on Uship, who picked up the stuff in NY without a hitch, and brought it to us, without us having to rent a van and spend a day driving back and forth, and perhaps getting even more cat pictures thrown in. Once I found the right shipper, this was a nice thing not to have to worry about any more. Thank you Allastair!
