I am deployed to Afghanistan on military duty and needed a motorcycle to be shipped. Because of my location, I could only arrange shipping of my motorcycle by e-mail. Big commercial shippers wanted an arm and a leg to ship my bike. On top of that, they wanted me to jump through a lot of hoops to avoid a lot of extra charges- pick up and drop off at commercial addresses, drain the gas tank, empty the saddlebags, etc. What a pain! Through U-Ship I was lucky enough to find Jett McBride. Not only did he bid far lower than anyone else, he made everything easy. Once I accepted the bid and sent him my contact information, he took care of the rest. He coordinated pickup from the bike's seller at the seller's rural home, and made sure the delivery time was convenient for my wife. Jett picked up the bike at the sellers house in Mississippi. No need to find a commercial site, no need to drain the gas, and I the seller got to leave tools, parts, and papers in the saddlebags. Jett called and made sure the drop off time was convenient for my wife in California. When he arrived, he was professional and courteous with my wife, and pushed the bike right into my garage. Seller's garage in Mississippi to my garage in California for hundreds of dollars less than a big shipping company would have charged, even if I had delivered the bike to a big city shipping terminal and picked it up from one. With a lot less hassle. I'm still here in Afghanistan, and didn't have to take my mind off what I'm doing here to worry about how to get my new bike shipped. Jett handled that all for me and made it easy.
If I ship a bike in the future, and if Jett is avaialble for the job, I won't give it a second thought. I'll go with Jett.
