I had an exceptionally positive experience with GreenTruckRental. For the past several months, I had been looking for the perfect motorcycle. I read every review and I had visited every dealership within a reasonable driving distance. Eventually, I found the bike of my dreams. Unfortunately, it was located in Atlanta...a bit of a problem considering the fact that I live in St. Louis - 9 hours away. I had to find a way to get the bike from Georgia to Missouri. I toyed with the idea of handling the pickup myself but time would not permit. Most of the quotes I got from Transporters online were more than I wanted to pay. Eventually, I found Uship. Admittedly, I was initially skeptical, but my familiarity with other auction-style websites (i.e. Ebay) eventually carried the day and I decided to try it out. I am so glad I did. The comprehensive interface and the various Provider information pages made posting a job and managing bids very easy. The average bid was several hundred dollars cheaper than the quotes I had received elsewhere. After receiving several bids, I decided to go with GreenTruckRental ("GTR"). They use vehicles that have a diminished impact on the environment and the responsive GTR contact person (Phil) seemed very patient with my "newbie" questions. When my purchase hit a wrinkle and became tentative, Phil worked with me AND the seller AND my local agent. He was very flexible. Phil even endured a last minute change of pickup location -- all with a friendly demeanor. When it came time for the pickup, Phil sent me a message and gave me an ETA. This may be standard operating procedure, but I appreciated the feedback nonetheless. The best part is that I recieved my motorcycle (a Graphite Grey Triumph Daytona 675) ON THE SAME DAY. I did not expect such prompt delivery. Phil and GreenTruckRental deserve high marks for their professionalism and service. UShip should also be commended for an innovative idea. Thanks, James
